Description

Please join Sue Sturdy and be part of the one of a kind art installation by knitting, crocheting, or sewing a piece for the flotilla of 150 canoes and 15 kayaks that will be launching from Linear Park, down the Grand River, and docking at River Bluff Park. We will be finishing the event at Dickson Park for the final art installation to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday and the Region of Waterloo Art Fund Grant's 15th Anniversary.

Canoe+Kayak renters: please park at River Bluffs Park. Transportation will be provided from River Bluffs Park at 9am to Linear Park for the boat launch.

Thank you to Grand River Rafting for helping us get more canoes down the Grand! For more information on them please click here: Grand River Rafting.

BYOC/K - Bring Your Own Canoe / Kayak: please park at Linear Park and launch your boat from there. Transportation will be provided from River Bluffs Park to your vehicle once the event is finished.

Boats will begin launching from Linear Park at 9:30a.
