Sunrise House - Baking & Housekeeping Opportunity

Sunrise House provides provide safe, temporary emergency shelter for distressed youth ages 12-17. They connect homeless youth with the necessary programs and services that will support a successful return to their home or to finding safe, suitable living accommodation.

Work with a Sunrise House staff coordinator, as they lead you and a team of volunteers in performing some light housekeeping duties and preparing baked items for youth lunches.

Please note: Volunteers may encounter youth staying at the shelter, so a level of comfort being around young people who may be in distress is a necessity. You will not be required to guide or advise youth.

Please leave all other personal belongings at home or locked out of sight in your vehicle.

Shift begins at 10:00am and ends at 2:00pm.
