Join local ranconteur-extraordinaire Grant Lawrence for an evening to remember, as he brings his hit “Stories and Songs” touring show to Port Moody for the first time, a make-good for a show booked before the pandemic. Get ready for a long-awaited evening filled with true stories about outlandish coastal characters from past and present. The award-winning author and broadcaster will read from his new #1 bestselling book “Return to Solitude”, his top-rated podcasts, (“Hermit of Desolation Sound”, “Cougar Lady Chronicles” ) and his first bestseller, “Adventures in Solitude.” The stories will be complemented by songs performed by Juno Award-winning artists and feature all-star performers Jay Malinowski (Bedouin Soundclash), Said the Whale, and Suzie Ungerleider (formally Oh Susanna!). The show starts early, at 7:30pm (doors 7pm) there is an intermission, and concludes at 9:30pm.
