March 2018 Green Speaker Spotlight Guest:

Patric Langevin, M. Arch
LEEP Facilitator and Technical Lead
LEEP Team, Natural Resources Canada

LEEP: NRCan's market transformation initiative for new and retrofit housing

LEEP is a builder-driven market transformation initiative developed and delivered by Natural Resources Canada. LEEP accelerates energy efficient construction by enabling builders and renovators to reduce their time and risk finding and trying innovations that can help them build higher performance homes and provide energy retrofits better, faster and more affordably. Come learn about the LEEP model, and some of the results it is driving in the market.

About the speaker: Patric Langevin is trained as an architect and is the facilitator and technical lead for Natural Resources Canada’s Local Energy Efficiency Partnerships (LEEP) initiative. Patric has been active in the field of housing and energy efficient design for more than 15 years and has worked for architectural firms in Calgary and Montreal, including Douglas Cardinal architects in Ottawa. Patric has been at NRCan for 8 years, working with the home building industry through LEEP to find and develop cost-effective solutions for energy efficient homes.
