Rhizome Up! Media Society

The Rhizome Up! Media Society produces both the Green Film Series and Queer Projections film events. Rhizome Up! Media is a non-profit society.

The Green Film Series is dedicated to using film as a tool for community engagement on environmental and sustainability issues. Along with our community partners, we create events fostering the role of film as a catalyst for dialogue, networking and action.

Queer Projections aims to bring queer films to the Sunshine Coast in order to promote LGBTQ visibility and encourage communication and connections across our varied communities. Through these film events, we hope to foster understanding, equality, diversity and counteract the effects of homophobia and discrimination.
