Join the Canada Green Building Council Alberta Chapter for a bicycle tour of some of Calgary's green homes. Hosted by the Southern Alberta Emerging Green Builders, guests will hear from professionals in the building industry and learn about the importance of sustainable building practices which improve occupant comfort and health; and provide energy and water savings.

Tour will include LEED and Built Green certified
projects, along with other high performance homes.

• Rainwater harvesting
• Photovoltaic (PV) solar panels
• High performance mechanical and ventilation systems
• High performance envelope

We will bike to and tour two homes in the neighbourhood. Following the tours, we will meet at the library for a detailed discussion on green homes and sustainability. There will be secured and monitored bike storage available at the library.
