Event description

Description

Join neighbours and friends to beautify Fletchers Creek.

Credit Valley Conservation is hosting a community tree planting event at Chris Gibson Park. The event is open to all, experts and beginners alike and no experience is needed. We will provide shovels and gloves, but if you have your own please bring them. Sturdy footwear and long pants are required. This event will run rain or shine.

Please arrive at 9 a.m. at Chris Gibson Recreation Centre Auditorium for free coffee and pastries. Learn about the Fletchers Creek SNAP (Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan), an action-oriented plan that will help the community become more sustainable and resilient to the impacts of climate change.

Register today for a chance to win a scooter!

*NOTE: If you are under 18 years of age and are participating in tree planting, please read CVC's volunteer waiver before proceeding with registration.

Contact: Karen Bannister at 905-670-1615 ext. 510 or kbannister@creditvalleyca.ca if you have any questions.
