Event description

Description

The two-day workshop will cover general lighting theory, creative and dramatic lighting, colour and light quality, different types of lights and their uses, how to set up efficiently, power distribution, and tips on working safely. This will include both a theoretical and a hands-on portion.

Note: This is a two-day workshop (Saturday May 12 & Sunday May 13), both from 10AM - 5PM.

Instructors Profile

Scott Lutley

Scott entered the film industry in 2013, having completed the SAIT Film and Video program. Working primarily in the lighting department, Scott has since been involved on such projects as Damnation, Fargo, Alpha, Wynonna Earp, Tin Star, The Revenant, and Hell on Wheels in various capacities. When time allows, Scott also gets on the indy scene, having recently gaffed on Gillian McKercher's "Circle of Steel".
