GROUND. A 5Rhythms® Movement Class with Joanne Winstanley

Mary's Farm & Sanctuary, home of Blossoming at The Farm, 1128 Finlayson Arm Rd.

Hosted by Mary Lloyd/Collective Joy Dance & Events & Joanne Winstanley

We are excited to offer this opportunity to dance with Joanne, a heart-centred, longtime teacher in this transformative movement practice. Some of you will have danced with Joanne since her early days at the White Eagle Hall and others will be dancing the 5Rhythms® for the first time.

LIMITED NUMBERS. Book early.

The 5Rhythms® is a powerful movement practice which guides participants to re-connect with their own innate body-knowledge, wellness, and wisdom. Since 2001, Joanne has held a steady space for the growth and evolution of Victoria’s robust dance community, and has shared her love of this practice with hundreds of students throughout the region. As a teacher, student, producer, and collaborator, Joanne approaches this movement practice with a deep respect for its transformational nature, and for the unique discovery process of each participant.

It has been a year since we last shared a dance here at idyllic Mary's Farm, and our first dance here was the first in many moons. We look forward to gathering, moving, and sharing our practice under the waxing crescent moon. Together we’ll call ourselves in, drop into our dances, say hello to what’s new and ever-changing, and take refuge in community, practice, and the life-force that moves through us all. You are warmly invited to join us.
