Grounding Circle
Overview
It is for people who use the word spiritual to describe themselves, who are seeking a community that knows each other at a soul level, and want a reprieve from the daily onslaught of noise and busyness.
The Grounding Circle meets on the last Saturday of the month from 10:30am-12pm at Trout Lake Park on unceded territories of txʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. The willow tree we sit under is on the west side of the lake, near the dog beach. We welcome each other to the circle, sit in silence, and then share as called.
The overarching goal is to build a circle of trust with each other and with mother earth. We believe that making a deep connection to the land is a key element in exciting people to climate justice action. We hope you will join us to sit in silence, breathe, and let your cares fall away as you ground into mother earth and community.
