Event description

Description

Has winter got you craving fresh greens? With minimal cost, time, and effort, you can regularly enjoy a healthy harvest of fresh organic microgreens that are even more nutritious than their fully grown counterparts!

Paul Denby is a microgreens expert who has taught dozens of his students at Arthur Hatton Elementary how to grow microgreens. He has perfected a fool-proof system that anyone can reproduce in their own home. All you need is a sunny window or a grow light and space for a flat or other shallow container.

At this workshop, you will learn a basic system that can be used to grow a variety of greens. This is a hands-on session where you will plant a flat to take home with different kinds of seeds including peas, sunflowers, radish, broccoli and more so you can decide which ones you like best. Everything will be supplied - all you need to bring is your gardening enthusiasm!
