GSS Halton Peel: Celebrating Green Achievements & Networking Event
Thu, 4 May 2017, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM EDT
We invite you to join us at our annual celebration, as this year is a special one: we will be celebrating this year's Green Award Winners, as well as the end of Ontario Trillium Foundation Seed Grant at Joshua Creek Heritage Centre (1086 Burnhamthorpe Rd E, Oakville) on Thursday May 2, 2017, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
The free event will celebrate GSS Halton-Peel's achievements and associated faith communities accomplishments over the past year, as well as the faith communities that will be presented with our GSS Halton-Peel Green Award.
Thanks to the Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant, we have been able to work at our mission in assisting faith communities with environmental initiatives through a myriad of greening efforts.
Help us in celebrating the inspiring action of the many faith communities in Halton Peel!
Registration is required. Vegetarian snacks, a networking opportunty and an exciting presentation on eco-spirituality will all be a part of this event.
