GTA & Central Ontario Regional Electricity Forum

The IESO is hosting five Regional Electricity Forums across Ontario. The Forums are an opportunity to gather together local leaders, community members, industry experts, local groups and associations to discuss the future of the evolving electricity sector, and to explore how to support the growth, resiliency and vibrancy of communities in GTA & Central Ontario.

The GTA & Central Ontario Regional Electricity Forum is a full-day event that will feature keynote speakers, a local panel discussion and spotlight local innovation. This year the GTA & Central Ontario Electricity Forum will be held in Vaughan.

The forum agenda includes:
• Keynote addresses by provincial and local leaders
• Updates on the energy policy, electricity planning and operations in the area
• Panel discussions on the changing electricity sector focused on key themes in the region, and engagement at the local level to determine how we keep the conversation going
• Spotlights on local community electricity innovation projects
