About this event
October 24th, 2022 is municipal election day in Guelph!
Join 10C and SDG Cities for a public forum with council candidates from Wards 4, 5, and 6 on Wednesday Oct 12th from 4-6pm.
The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are universal, target-oriented and interconnected. The 17 SDGs provide clear objectives that can help hold governments and elected officials accountable - and inspire communities to take action on important issues.
The SDGs help frame local issues in the context of the SDGs, and to support communities calling candidates and elected officials to address the issues most important to our communities. More resources about municipal elections and the SDGs can be found here.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In the spirit of community care, we are asking all attendees at this event to wear masks. Also a reminder, 10C is a scent-free environment. We appreciate all efforts to create a safe and welcoming space for these discussions.
