Description

Learning to build and expand your professional network online is a great way to open new doors, raise your profile, and increase your knowledge. In this workshop, we’ll discuss simple tools, tips and tactics to build your personal brand, and stand out in today’s digital environment.

We will look at:
• Essential elements of a simple and professional online presence.
• Using tools like LinkedIn and Twitter to build relationships and discover new opportunities.
• Demonstrating your value and experience through publishing.

Professionals with strong personal brands are sought out, presented with unpublished opportunities, and can easily manage career transitions.

This session is offered through CPA Alberta’s networking program, the Connector Program.

Workshop Facilitator

The workshops are facilitated by Ernest Barbaric, a digital marketer, educator, and professional speaker.

Ernest has designed the digital marketing certificate programs at University of Calgary, Mount Royal University, and Canadian Marketing Association. To date, about 2500 professionals have gone through these courses.
