Guided Garden Walk

Sundays at 3-4pm

Do you know your walnut from your willow? Or how about horsetail from horse chestnut?

Join medical herbalist and master gardener Chanchal Cabrera as she explores and explains the gardens at Innisfree Farm. Lovingly built over the last 20 years, these gardens showcase medicinal plants both native and exotic. The gardens include several specialty collections – of medicinal trees, of BC Native plants, of Traditional Chinese medicinal herbs, of herbs by medicinal uses and body systems, and even flower beds in the colors of the Four Directions.

Each walk is an hour, covering a specific feature or area of the gardens, describing what you see and why these particular plants matter. This is a great way to learn about medicinal plants you could maybe even grow for yourself.
