Join Miriam for guided meditation and experience silent self-reflection, and the benefits of meditating in community with others. Each 4-week guided meditation series explores a unique theme, while providing a safe and comfortable space within which to move from activity to stillness.
Registration is available through Eventbrite for the Opening Series, the Inquiry Series, and the Explore Series. Note: these series can be completed in any order.
OPENING SERIES (Wednesday evenings June 7, 14, 21, 28)
Week One: Heart Awareness Meditation
- Practice moving your attention from the narrative of the mind, to the feeling space of the heart.
Week Two: Loving-Kindness (Metta) Meditation
- Cultivate an embodied presence of loving-kindness through the practice of Metta Meditation.
Week Three: Peaceful Intentions Meditation
- Meditate with the intention of establishing your awareness in peace.
Week Four: Restful Grounding Meditation
- Relax and experience a restorative practice inspired by Yoga Nidra.
Meditation chairs, props and blankets are provided. Dress comfortably, and allow yourself time to settle in silence prior to the beginning of the class.
Doors open at 6:45 pm and meditation begins at 7:00 pm.
