Family friendly fun run where you show up all fresh, dressed in white & leave covered in colour! Come party with us, support a great cause!

About this Event

Join us for an awesome day full of family fun while supporting Habitat for Humanity in raising funds to build safe, decent and affordable homes in Moose Jaw. We have raised over $35,000 through the first three colour runs, help us raise even more by coming out to our 4th Annual 5km Colour Run on September 14th!

About this event:

You start off dressed all fresh then run through 4 colour stations and celebrate at the finish line with a huge colour party with friends new and old. You will be covered from head to toe in a rainbow of colour!

If you haven't been a part of a fun run before you won't want too miss out on this one.

Check-in Starts at :930am

Opening Ceremonies at 10:45am

Run begins at 11:00am*

*runners will go out in waves starting 60-90 seconds apart

Registration Info:

  • Early Bird Registration ages 11+ (end Aug 31) - $30* save $15.00!!!
  • Regular Registration ages 11+ (starts Sept. 1 ) - $45*
  • Registration for Ages 5 to 10 - $15*
  • Ages 0 to 4 - free (however do not receive colour packet or promo items)

Online tickets will be available until September 14th at 9:30am. Once check-in begins we will be will be accepting registration by cash only.

What you get: entry into the run, one colour packet, water throughout the course, 5 colours thrown at you and an awesome day of fun! Don't forget you will be supporting a great cause in the Moose Jaw community!

Run Guide:

A Run Guide will be emailed out to participants by Thursday September 12th. It will be sent to the email you used to register for the event and will contain information related to:

  • check-in times
  • location
  • the route you will be on
  • food/drink for purchase
  • tips
  • and more

Please check all email folders; junk, other, focused, etc.

Post-Run:

Colour Run School Challenge:

If your school is interested in taking part in the run please contact Derek Hassen at 306-692-5050 to learn more about the Colour Run School Challenge and how your school can support Habitat for Humanity Moose Jaw.

Somethings to keep in mind:

  • This is a family-friendly run, open to those of all ages!
  • The route will be a mix of grass, road and paths, please keep this in mind.
  • Coloured powder will be thrown at participants from shoulder height down, we suggest that you wear old clothing, and children in strollers are strongly encourage to have a stroller cover.
  • We love pets, but unfortunately, we will not be permitting pets on the run.
  • Check-in will be held at the Skating Oval starting at 9:30am - look for the check-in sign
  • Parking will be limited, please carpool if possible.
  • Waivers must be signed to participate.
  • Children & Youth under 16 years will be required to have a parent/guardian with them.
  • Bring a towel or sheet to put on your vehicle seats after the run is over.
  • No glass water bottles, please.
  • Sorry no refunds will be permitted, however we will allow for transfers of the same ticket type for online registrations only.

FAQ's

Is this a fundraising event? Yes, we are raising funds in support of Habitat for Humanity Moose Jaw to build, safe, decent and affordable homes in our community. To learn more about Habitat for Humanity please visit www.habitatmoosejaw.ca

What do I get for my registration fee? You get to build the Habitat community! Additionally, we have numerous colour stations set up, provide water throughout the run and each participant is given a colour packet to throw in the air together with all others after the run.

What should I wear? Participants are asked to wear a white shirt so that the colours show up best. Proper walking/running shoes.

Safety - Please stay on the trails at all times and obey traffic laws.

Does my child or youth require a parent or guardian for the run? Yes, anyone under 16 years is required to have a parent or guardian with them for the run.

Is this an official timed run? No, we won't be timing you, this is all about having fun, being active and supporting a great cause. It takes approximately 1 hour to walk the 5km course.

Will the colour come out? The paint is water based and is designed to come out, however, we recommend wearing clothing that you don’t mind staining. You may wish to bring a change of clothes for the ride home. Baby wipes work well too.

What else should I bring? You may wish to bring a hat and sunglasses. Water stations are available on the course.

Where do I park? Parking is free of charge and is available near the Kiwanis Pavilion and alongside the oval. Attendants will be there, please follow their instructions. DO NOT PARK ON THE ROAD
