About this Event

How does a computer store and read data like music, videos, or books? Data representation is understanding how different types of data are stored in computer systems. Knowing how data representation works is essential for recognizing the limitations and possibilities with computers. The SV Robotics Academy workshop, Hack Games and Robots will teach the students the basics of Binary, Variables and Data Types.

Students will learn by completing two projects! The first is hacking the elements of the popular video game Hack Floppy Bird to score the highest score. The second project is coding a Robotic Arm to pick up/ draw items. Students will learn how these basic programming ideas have a significant impact on cool technology!
