Description
Hacking Health is coming to northern Canada! We're joining forces with YuKonstruct to bring you a weekend full of healthcare innovation!
Think there are inefficiencies in the healthcare space?
Want to be part of the solution?
Hacking Health is organizing a weekend-long hackathon on May 9 - 11, 2014, where doctors, nurses, administrators, researchers, managers, designers and developers will come together to build digital solutions to frontline healthcare problems. Click Here for further details about the event.
What is Hacking Health?
Hacking Health is an international movement designed to improve healthcare by inviting technology creators and healthcare professionals to collaborate on realistic, human-centric solutions to front-line problems. Learn more about Hacking Health here.
Not in Whitehorse? Remote participation is available!
The ticket price helps to cover the cost of food and logistics for the weekend. A free registration is available for those wishing to participate remotely from Yellowknife, Iqaluit, and from communities around Yukon. When you register for remote participation we will be in touch to ask that you record a 1 minute video explaining your idea so that we can help you build a team in Whitehorse to make it happen!
Want to see what gets created but can't participate? Be an observer!
We want to share what we will be building so please come join us to check out the pitches on Friday evening (6pm) with a coctail hour and the prototype demonstrations on Sunday afternoon (2pm). On Sunday at 4pm, after the winner is announced, we enourage you to stay for a guest presentation by Canadian Space Agency astronaut Dr. David Saint-Jacques.
