12:10pm – Keep your CSS simple with postcss and tailwind
This lightning talk is for people who have some CSS knowledge, know how to google for a bug fix, but aren't sure where to go with CSS next. Large libraries like Material UI or Bootstrap aren’t always necessary, learn about CSS tooling and utility libraries to create a personal site or custom design from scratch. I’ll introduce PostCSS and Tailwind css, we’ll talk about some cardinal rules when working with styles and prototype some common components you’d see on a website. This is exclusively a CSS talk but the tooling can pretty easily be added to any of the popular JavaScript libraries.
