Celebrate Manitoba's rich sport heritage at the annual Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony presented by Manitoba Liquor Marts.

About this event

We're back! Join us to celebrate our newest class at the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony presented by Manitoba Liquor Marts. Enjoy cocktails (cash bar) followed by a three course meal with wine as the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame inducts Sheldon Kennedy, Ralph Lyndon, Jennifer Saunders and the 1996 & 1997 University of Manitoba Bison's Women’s Basketball Teams from the Class of 2020. These individuals are exceptional and have earned their place in Manitoba’s sport history.

Peruse the Online Silent Auction from the comfort of your own table! Bid on fabulous items including autographed prizes from our newest inductees and other Honoured Members. Auction is currently open and closes November 4.

Guests must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated and wear a mask to attend this event. Proof of vaccination and photo ID must be shown at the door to enter. Masks must be worn at all times when not eating or drinking. Children 12 and under are exempt when accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult.

Doors Open & Cocktails: 5:30 pm  

Dinner:  6:00 pm

Induction Ceremony:  7:00 pm

Do I need to be fully vaccinated to attend this event?

Yes, you must show proof of full vaccination and photo ID to attend this event.

What if I am not a part of any inductee's cohort?

Please contact Rick Brownlee, Sport Heritage Manager, at 204-612-7272 or halloffame@sportmanitoba.ca to discuss your options.

Do I need to wear a mask?

Masks must be worn at all times except when eating or drinking.

What is this service fee that is included?

All tickets sold are subject to a service fee for ticket processing.

What is the refund policy?

All ticket sales are final.

How do I get my tax receipt?

Tax receipts will be sent out after the event. Tax receipts can only be issued to the purchaser.  For multiple receipts on a group purchase, please contact Rick Brownlee.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

This is an all-ages event. Child meals are available for purchase. Only those 18+ can purchase liquor from the bar. Photo ID is required to enter the event with proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, and order from the bar.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Free parking is available in front and behind the hotel. Hotel entrances are available at each parking lot. 

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes. If for some reason you are not able to attend, you may send someone in your place.

Can I update my registration information?

You will be able to update your information if you create an Eventbrite account.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, we can check you in electronically with the QR code sent to your email or your printed ticket.
