Halloween Haunted Pub Tours - Old Strathcona

Haunted Pub Tours are back for the 2022 Halloween Season!

A combination of a ghost tour and visiting a haunted pub. Great for groups, date nights, team building, and corporate events.

These tours are 18+ and drinks and food are NOT included in the ticket price. Please drink responsibly.

Join us as we wander the Old Strathcona area for the first 40 minutes to hear some of the area's stories of ghosts, hauntings, murders, and mysteries and then we head inside a local pub to hear the history of the pub and the many ghosts and mysteries surrounding the pub. Hear of haunted buildings in historic Old Strathcona while enjoying some tasting spirits along the way.

We have partnered again with many amazing pubs and will do our best to rotate the pub we visit each week to ensure we are supporting local businesses. Join us as we visit some of Old Strathcona’s most iconic and haunted buildings on Whyte Ave.

In the Pub we will have a reserved section for our tour.

Where do we Start/Meet:   10322 83rd Avenue. Meet in front of the Rescue Statue, next to the Walterdale Playhouse in Old Strathcona.

What can you expect? We will begin or end at a local pub in Old Strathcona where you can order drinks and food (at your own expense). At the pub, you will hear the history of the building along with its ghost stories, hauntings, murders, and mysteries. These stories have been unearthed by Edmonton Ghost Tours.

We will be walking to the pub, so please ensure you dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear as it could be snowy or icy. Along the way, you hear some history of the area and ghost stories. Once we arrive at the Pub everyone again can order food and drink if they wish (at your own expense).

FAQ’s

What is the best way to communicate with Haunted Pub Tour/Edmonton Ghost Tours Inc.? For the fastest response, the best way to communicate is by sending an email. Please do not phone any of the venues where the tours start because their staff members are not connected to Edmonton Ghost Tour in any way.

How do I buy tickets? Tickets can be purchased on our website www.EdmontonGhostTours.com through the link with EVENTBRITE or directly on Eventbrite.

Are tours canceled when it is raining/snowing? No, Haunted Pubs Tours operate in all weather conditions. We advise clients to dress appropriately and bring an umbrella. We do walk to the pub, so please wear appropriate clothing and proper footwear as walkways, steps and sidewalks could be icy, etc.

Do I need to print my ticket? Not necessary, but you can if you wish. Your name will be automatically added to the Eventbrite booking. You will also receive your ticket via the email you registered with, if not please check your spam or junk folder. 

If I can’t pay online can I buy tickets in another way? All tickets need to be purchased online through Eventbrite.

Is there a waiting list if the Haunted Pub Tour is sold out? Yes, in the event that a tour is sold out you can ask to be put on a waiting list directly on Eventbrite. If there are any cancellations we will contact you at least 48 hours before the tour starts to offer you the tickets.

When should I arrive at the venue? We recommend arriving at least 10-15 minutes early. What should I do if I am late? The Haunted Pub Tours will begin at the meeting spot. While we do our best to start on time and advise guests to take precautions to ensure they are not late we also understand things happen. If you think you will be late please call us at (780)289-2005 as we are usually in the area for the first 10 minutes with stories.

How long are the ghost tours? The Haunted Pub Tours runs about 2 hours but can and usually go over!

Do the ghost tours end at the same location where they start? No, but they will end in the same general area of Old Strathcona.

Are tickets refundable? Tickets are only refundable up to 24 hours in advance. Unfortunately, due to limited space and demand, tickets are non-refundable on the day of the event or if you miss the event.

Should I give a tip to the guide at the end of the tour? This is entirely at your discretion. If you had a fun time and enjoyed the event showing your appreciation is always appreciated and it will be graciously accepted!
