Bios
Peach Pyramid
Peach Pyramid is the brimming honesty and personal experience of one Jen Severtson. An internalized cry pulled to the surface; transformed and juxtaposed by way of graceful melodies and swirling guitars. Based in serene Victoria, British Columbia, the group explores the sounds of the pacific northwest while nodding at Jen’s upbringing in Calgary, Alberta. Repeating Myself, Peach Pyramid’s newest release, is a project recorded and produced with engineer Colin Stewart (Dan Mangan, Black Mountain, Yukon Blonde) and Kathryn Calder (The New Pornographers, Immaculate Machine) to be released Sept. 22nd on Calder’s newest label, Oscar St. Records. Repeating Myself explores themes of abuse and healing, glued together by Severtson’s ethereal vocals and pop hooks; Repeating Myself dives deep into the great beyond. Supported by a rotating collective of musicians/close friends, Peach Pyramid sonically exhales Jen’s intimate narrative.

Wise Child
At the forefront of Wise Child's driving, melodic indie-pop is lead singer Jaya Bremer’s lush, expressive alto, contrasted and supported by Roger Eldridge’s melodic electric guitar. Following a summer of performances at local venues and festivals, Wise Child’s debut EP 'Lucky You' was self-released in October, 2016 and charted on numerous western Canadian independent radio stations. Energized and ready, Wise Child has leapt into 2017 with a wild show at Lucky Bar, slots at the Rocktographers Showcase and Song & Surf Festival, and laid the groundwork to record a full length album this coming October.

Wise Child has shared the stage with Pacific northwest acts Car Seat Headrest, Germany Germany, and Hawk & Steel. Wise Child’s music will resonate with lovers of such artists as Feist, Land of Talk, the War on Drugs and Beach House.

Lakelse
Lakelse (pronounced lake-else) is an independent and alternative rock band based out of Victoria, BC. Formed in late 2014 by singer/guitarist Nash Park, bassist Dylan Powell, guitarist Graham Schibli and percussionist Kevin Wiebe. Hoping to incite self-reflection and a collective celebration Lakelse’s sound uses a combination of heavy slow moving guitar riffs layered with grandiose synthesizer, and honest, soaring lyrics. Intending to blend dramatic intimacy with explosive dynamics Lakelse’s sound puts the listener in a place of both comfort and unease. These intentions are ever present in their first official release, The Prospect of the Dream EP.

Recorded in early 2015 The Prospect of the Dream EP is a truly independent venture from beginning to end. The five tracks featured on the EP were written, produced, recorded and mixed by Lakelse and mastered by Jonathan Anderson (Aidan Knight, We Are The City). Invoking feelings of hope, community and the frustrations of a changing perspective, The Prospect of the Dream EP is a production full of both love and conviction.
