In honour of Canada's 150th, join us for a free evening event celebrating community giving. At Happenings 2017, hear inspiring stories empowering us all to create positive change at both a global and local level.

At five years old, Spencer West lost his legs from the pelvis down. Today, our keynote speaker’s amazing achievements include climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro to bring the world’s attention to the devastating drought affecting Kenya. And within Canada, Spencer completed an epic 300 km trek from Edmonton to Calgary to raise awareness and money for Free The Children’s clean water projects. As a much sought after international speaker, including as a celebrated ME to WE keynoter, Spencer West inspires us all to Give brilliantly.

Celebrating giving closer to home, we’ll share some powerful, heartfelt stories. From across all lifestages, people right here in Burlington are being positively impacted by partners working together to support sustainable community change. Coming together to make change happen. Now that’s brilliant!

Hope to see you there.
