Event description
Has the world gone mad: The Fear / The Challenge, with Joseph Heath

About this Event

Across a turbulent globe politics grows angrier and more polarized. Mass movements flare into recurring street protests to enforce demands. In such unstable times can open governance and free populations still work and reason together for change? Joseph Heath, leading philosopher and political writer, weighs our chances.

Joseph Heath is professor of Philosophy and lectures at the School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Toronto. He is also internationally known for acclaimed political books and writings on social change and ethics.

Come and enjoy a great evening and share light refreshments following the presentation in the Great Hall at St. Andrew's.
