Amazing Gaming Event. In addition to Role Playing Games (D&D, etc.) there are also vendors, displays, workshops & hands-on activities

About this Event

Blades of Glory brings an Amazing D&D Event to Hastings, Ontario.

In addition to Two 3-hour Role Playing Game sessions that you can play, there are also vendors, Medieval Displays, Workshops & Seminars about gaming, Hands-On Family Friendly Activities,photo opportunities, AND a Special Live Action D&D Game.

The Festival is inside the Hastings Field House (Indoor Soccer Dome)

Festival goes from:

10am to 6pm.

Sessions:

  1. 11am to 2pm
  2. 3pm to 6pm

Live Action D&D Sessions: (max 4 players per session)

  1. 12pm to 1pm
  2. 2pm to 3pm
  3. 4pm to 5pm

Workshops:

  1. What is D&D (and Role Playing Games)
  2. How to make a Player Character
  3. How to be a good DM (Dungeon Master)

Hands-on Activities:

  1. Axe Throwing (foam axes)
  2. Archery (foam arrow heads)
  3. Challenge a Knight (for children under 10 years of age)

Displays:

  1. Medieval Armour & Weapons display
  2. D&D Interactive Day or Weekend display - see video below
  3. Dragon Sculptures from the Lakefield Fairy & Dragon Festival (June 13) will be on display

Personalities:

  1. James Kerr, published "Creatures from Fairy-Tale and Myth" with Ed Greenwood. He also did "Dead Man's Blade"

Vendors:

  1. Mystic Wood, hand made wooden beer steins
  2. Rose Mehndi, Henna artist
  3. Noel Lelievre, Chainmail Dice Bags & Wooden Dice Towers & Trays

Dungeon Masters/ Games Masters:

  1. James Kerr (Live Action D&D Game, 3 times during the event, see above)
  2. Elias Alexander (D&D 5e, new players welcome)
