Healing Hearts Yoga: Releasing and Healing Grief
What is it?
Gentle yoga classes created for for individuals who are suffering from symptoms of grief due to experiencing a significant loss in their life. You will feel safe and supported in a compassionate environment with an experienced instructor.
What can I expect?
During each practice participants will use breath, gentle movement, restorative postures, and meditation in an effort to promote physical, mental, and emotional healing. We will utilize longer holds in conjunction with purposeful breath to release the emotional and physical tension that grief creates in the body, while cultivating a sense of inner peace and strength.
Who is this for?
Don't worry if you have little to no yoga experience. This offering is designed for all levels. While no knowledge of yoga is required, but it is highly recommended that participants be able to move from supine to seated and up to standing with little to no assistance.
