Healing the Hidden Wounds
Event Information
Description
Mental health plays an important role in our lives. Being mentally well is a state of well-being in which the individual realises his or her own abilities and can cope with the normal stresses of life.
Healthy Minds Canada hosts a series of Lunch & Learns where we address the impact of mental health on different groups of people within society. These Lunch & Learn events are designed to inform, educate and create positive outcomes.
HMC’s special Lunch & Learn in advance of Toronto’s PRIDE weekend 2017 will explore some of the unique mental health issues within the LGBT community and why education is important.
Come join us and hear from our panel of professionals and people with lived experience on June 20th, 2017 as they give different perspectives on the presenting issues.
