Description

When it comes to health and safety, everyone in the workplace has distinct responsibilities. Whether you're an owner, employer, supervisor, prime contractor, or worker, you have a role to play in keeping the workplace safe.

This seminar will focus on the responsibilities of Employers, Owners and Prime Contractors because their attitude toward workplace health and safety will directly affect, positively or negatively, their program's success.

Participants are asked to review the following Sections of the Workers Compensation Act prior to the seminar to engage and enjoy the discussions more fully.

About the instructor:

Kent Macfarlane worked in Sears Canada's Resources Protection Department for 26 years. From 1996 until he retired, he was directly involved in the development and implementation of what became the Company's national Health & Safety Program.
