Event description

Description

Speaker Ian Crawford with Navigator Coaching and The House of Purpose, will use an evidence-based, brain friendly and inclusive framework to talk about workplace challenges such as productivity loss due to stress, conflict, and disengagement. Theory and practice will be blended in an engaging workshop that will leave attendees energized and more engaged.

Three themes will be addressed:

  1. Wellness: Understanding brain health to improve brain function and manage stress
  2. Human Skills: Understanding Emotional Styles to manage relationships, biases and diversity. This is the meat of the workshop with an exploration of how the brain functions under stress and opportunities to explore practices to manage and improve the ways we relate to others.
  3. Engagement: Understanding the importance of purpose alignment to improve motivation and productivity.

For all three, we will will explore the causes and challenges, and present possible solutions and tactics to become more effective and productive in our work.
