Just the right meal to get rid of the extra sugar and butter you may have accumulated over the festive season without compromising on the flavour and taste. This healthy vegetarian menu from a traditional indian kitchen will include freshly roasted and ground spices along with fresh herbs and produce that you can enjoy guilt free as we go on a cooking journey using foods that support the body to detoxify and nourish at the same time.
On the menu:
Tomato Rasam: A warming peppery tomato soup spiced with an aromatic bouquet of freshly roasted spices along with dessicated coconut and served topped with fresh cilantro.(we will make the traditional rasam powder blend from scratch for this dish).
Sauteed kale and soaked walnut riata (yogurt dish) to go with our main course dish.
Mushroom and peas curry made with a tempering of Panch Phoran (a blend of 5 different whole spices).
Green herb basmati rice delicately flavoured with fresh herbs.
Pineapple and coconut milk kheer cooked with nuts and raisins
