Heart Comonos Presents: Cooksville Park and Neighbourhood Cleanup!

Imagine walking through a neighbourhood that instantly leaves you with feelings of peace, welcome, comfort and safety as you stroll along. What does it look like? What do you see when you think about your ideal neighbourhood? At Heart Comonos, we envision Cooksville-Mississauga to be an example of a beautiful, clean neighbourhood. We dream of a community with no more dumping, and no more littering! Let's work together to keep Cooksville clean, always.

So it starts with us! We invite you to the second "Cooksville Park and Neighbourhood Cleanups" - a cleanup initiative for Cooksville Park and the surrounding perimeter. On July 16th from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, let's have fun and work together to pick up some garbage and make a difference. The City of Mississauga is generously supplying us with clean-up supplies, including bags and gloves for all. Come join us, and afterwards, enjoy some tasty pizza as a thank you for your wonderful volunteering.

This is a FREE event. Donations are welcome to help elevate suffering for folks in Ukraine.

For everyone’s health and safety we encourage wearing masks, though it is optional.

Cleanup supplies and refreshments will be supplied.

We encourage everyone who is able, please bring a non-perishable food item. Food donations will go toward the ‘Free Food Cupboard’ in Cooksville, Mississauga.
