About this event
Heart of the City is pleased to be hosting our first Indigenous Fashion Show, clothing drive and dance party. We are partnering with NGO Nèkem to provide an Indigenous dinner.
Featuring Acahkos Designs, emerging fashion designer Erin's Regalia, and Heather Bouchier Design.
Doors at 4:00 pm, dinner at 5 pm, fashion show at 6:30 pm with a dance party to follow.
The event is free and open to the community. We ask that you bring donations of new socks and underwear and gently used clothing especially winter gear like gloves, toques and winter coats. The donated clothing will be distributed to houseless folks by Nèkem.
Proof of at least two provincially approved Covid-19 vaccinations, received no less than 2 weeks ago, or proof of a negative Covid-19 test results within the last 72 hours, required for entry.
