Event description
In this Heirloom Workshop, participants will learn how to make a corn husk doll at the Joslin Farm Carriage Shed.

About this event

If you have ever marvelled at the lovely crafts the folks at Kings Landing make, now you can learn them for yourself! Mrs. Joslin has expressed concern over the “endangered crafts” that few folks make these days. These include embroidery, basket making, quilting, sewing, and more. Mrs. Joslin and her friend, Miss Inge, are excited to share their knowledge of these crafts to ensure future generations carry them on.

The corn husk doll workshop starts at10 a.m., and participants are welcome to stay as long as required to finish their doll or until Kings Landing closes at 5 p.m.

Schedule :
