This webinar is designed to provide you with information, tools and strategies for working with children and youth who are experiencing anxiety.
Learning Outcomes
As a CYCP participant in this webinar you will:
Obtain an understanding of anxiety and the types of anxiety disorders prevalent in children and youth
Recognize and identify common features of anxiety in children and youth
Learn a variety of techniques for anxiety to enhance your toolbox including a handout of resources
About our Presenter:
Deb Cockerton has been in the field of Child and Youth Care since 1978. She has worked extensively with both children and youth experiencing anxiety. She currently teaches in the CYC program at Fleming College, has a private counselling practice and is the founder of CYC Assets. She recently launched the first Professional Development Tracking App exclusively for Child and Youth Care Practitioners based on the domains of practice.
Deb enjoys promoting the field to other professionals and supporting fellow Child and Youth Practitioners in developing their practice.
