Guest speaker Ricky Veerappan, Superintendent with York Regional Police, will share his experience on building a caring community, by discussing:
- What a hate crime is, how to report it and what the Police Department is able to do
- Where you can go and what you can do if you have experienced a hate crime
- What you can do to stop the spread of hate crimes
