Description
THE PREMIERE IS NOW SOLD OUT. WAHOO!!
This event marks the beginning of a three week fundraising campaign—our first ever! Yes, after 1 million dollars worth of renovations we are finally doing our own campaign. With your help we will move forward and do many more Radical Renovations for worthy causes.
Currently we are looking at a building in which single moms with addictions can get counseling and daycare, a 1/2 way house for men in James Bay, the Citizen’s Counseling Center where low income people receive counseling, and others.
But we need this campaign to be successful to take on future projects. We need your help. So join us for an amazing evening of fun and inspiration. Details below :)

What is HeroWork?
HeroWork organizes modern-day versions of old-fashioned barn raisings, called Radical Community Renovations.
- We've completed 1 million dollars worth of non-profit renovations
- Been sponsored by over 150 companies
- Have developed a 10 year vision to create chapters of HeroWork in towns and cities across the country
What are the problems you're solving?
- Neighbourhood halls, parks, shelters, recreation centers, food banks…our non-profit infrastructure is in critical condition
- Our community buildings need renewal
- Example: The BC recreational sector alone has $4 billion dollars worth of backlogged work and deferred maintenance
- The rest of the non-profit industry is in worse shape
- The need has already outstripped traditional solutions
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes.
