Event Details

Develop your improvisation skills in a super fun environment. This class is designed for high school students (ages 15-18) to develop and hone their improvised theatre skills. The class will  focus on being positive, creating character interaction, and pushing the narrative forward in scene work. This class will be participatory and engaging. Get ready to laugh and learn on your feet. Any experience level is welcome.

 

INSTRUCTOR - Anyssa McKee
Anyssa has been training, performing and teaching at Loose Moose Theatre for over eight years. In addition to regular Friday and Saturday shows at Loose Moose, Anyssa has starred in Sour Dog Theatre’s Millennials and Missed Connections. In 2015, she completed the improv and sketch program at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City. With a passion for improvisation, Anyssa loves to teach improv to all ages.

 

Classes run Sundays, from 7:00 - 9:00 PM, April 19- June 7, 2020 (no class May 17 for long weekend).

Loose Moose Theatre Company

The Loose Moose Theatre Company, which was formed in 1977, has an international reputation for innovation and excellence in improvisational theatre. Techniques for training and presenting improvisation which have been created by co-founder and former Artistic Director Keith Johnstone, and developed at Loose Moose are currently used worldwide. The Loose Moose also acts as a training centre for individuals interested in improvisational theatre, and we are very proud of our many alumni that are now working in the areas of film, television, and stage.
