Description

Indulge in your love of Regency dancing, socializing, “home” theatrics and other activities that Jane Austen might have enjoyed by attending!

Adding to the fun will be a short presentation of a few scenes from Darcy & Elizabeth, from London playwright Marion Johnson’s adaptation of Pride & Prejudice.

Dance workshop hosted by Karen Millyard. Karen is a renowned, Toronto-based dance mistress who has been leading English Country Dances for many years. She is a choreographer, researcher, consultant, and professional dance teacher who works in theatre, television, schools, and the community.

Costumes are encouraged but not required.

History + is a unique program that lets you explore different aspects of the Village and history, than you may experience during a regular visit.

Ticket price includes entrance into Fanshawe Pioneer Village throughout the weekend (Saturday and Sunday, July 27 and 28, 2019), during which Fanshawe 1812: Enemy in Sight will be held.

Enter at 1424 Clarke Road, Fanshawe Conservation Area.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Fanshawe Pioneer Village is located within the Fanshawe Conservation Area, entrance at 1424 Clarke Road. Let the conservation area staff know you are going to an event at Fanshawe Pioneer Village and they will let you through the gate.

There is no public transportation to site.

What's the refund policy?

Refunds are not available, the event will run rain or shine with a rain location.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

We are tree friendly! You do not need to bring a printed copy of your ticket with you but will ask for your name, or the name you registered under at the Fanshawe Pioneer Village Visitor Entrance/Tollgate and at the event start location.
