The Disclosure Workshop is an interactive and engaging workshop created by and for the HIV Positive community to address disclosure to our partners, friends, and family. The workshop aims to provide adults living with and/or affected by HIV with a space to discuss disclosure. In this full day workshop, we find ways to constructively react to stigma and rejection, discuss the complexities of disclosure, seek solutions, and most importantly, for educational purposes as we examine ways to approach this subject to change public perception about people living with HIV.
Snacks and beverages will be provided throughout the day, and lunch will be served between 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm. Please indicate if you have dietary restrictions/preferences when you register.
This workshop is for individuals living with/affected by HIV, individuals at risk for getting HIV, and healthcare and support providers.
