Cupid's Sting is on a mission is to combat violence against women in our communities. The numbers are staggering as 1 in 3 women will be a victim of physical, sexual, or psychological violence in her lifetime. We prioritize Black and Brown women who are unable to spend 100s of dollars on self-defence and want to feel safe in their relationships and communities.

Join us Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 7:30-8:30 pm for our Holiday Virtual Fundraiser, where we will be raising $5,000 to host more than 50 self-defence workshops for Black and Brown women in Canada. We'll play some tunes and host a fabulous and educational 1 hour trivia game that will keep you on your toes and provide you insight into community safety measures. Come learn and have fun, while supporting women to feel safe in their communities.

We have hosted more than 100 workshops for women on dating abuse, interpersonal violence, domestic violence prevention, and street harassment and trained over 400 women in self-defence this year alone. Our workshops provide women with practical tools and knowledge to feel safe. As one woman shared "I loved it. It made me feel very empowered."
