Description

Greetings Soul Family,

Riding the wave of the first two wildly jubilant and inspiriting Holy Fire events, we are excited to reignite the Holy Fire of radical creative expression. We are presenting a more refined vision, as well as a new set of festivities, artists and offerings this time around that we are STOKED to announce! :)

The idea of "Servicelebration" encapsulates tremendous balance, polarity and potential. Servicelebration is to be of service to the world in a way that feels like joyous celebration, or to celebrate in a manner that palpably services our planet and all life that inhabits it. This represents an endless spiral, a feedback loop that effortlessly maintains and balances itself. The way that we share our musical gifts and message is the perfect representation of "Servicelebration". The act of performing is equally laborious in service and explosively joyous in celebration. We must embody service and celebration simultaneously with our actions to help heal this planet.

We're pleased to announce that Rufus Glassco will be joining us in the co-creation of the event. Rufus does a great job bridging his shamanic studies, diverse musical background and masterful drumming technique. Rufus will be sharing a drum and dance journey through the elements with us as well as some collaborative world musical explorations on various high quality resonant instruments such as the Zen Drum, Didgeridoo and Djembe. Additionally he will be accompanying Jeremy Legault during the concert portion of the evening.

I, Jeremy Legault will be playing a set of roots rock reggae. I'll be amping up the show this time around with live drum accompaniment by long time friend and musical collaborator Elton Fernandes who will be holding down the rhythms on the kit. You can look forward to meticulously crafted compositions as well as live spontaneity, free~style channelling, looping, beat boxing, sing along fun and a positive message for the age we're living in.

We are grateful to have Donny Day instructing us through an opening yoga class. Donny will be intuitively assisting us into deeper embodiment before the music begins. Donny is a highly knowledgable and devoted practitioner and teacher of a wide range of movement modalities.

Additional musical contributors include Tamas Pal, who will be blessing us with a short set of groovy World Soul Reggae tunes and Mandika Divya will be providing her ethereal mantra style vocals for our closing sound bath.

**** Holy Fire is the vision of Producer, Songwriter, Mix Engineer and Concert Organizer, Jeremy Legault. Holy Fire represents an inspired vision of a multi-faceted concert experience that supports and showcases the conscious musical medicine of Toronto within an inspiring, friendly, nourishing and communal container. This is a gathering that naturally encourages the full embodiment of ourselves, our authentic self-expression and our internal creative fire through the medium of ecstatic musical performances, song circles, dance and yoga. It is as meticulously crafted as it is raw and spontaneous.

There is always plenty of space for collaboration, audience interaction and musical spontaneity as it our aim to blur the lines between performer and audience and bring various artists up to the stage intermittently. Rigid structure and timelines do not overcome the spontaneity of rich creative expression.

We are grateful once again to be hosting you at the beautiful yoga/meditation studio at Alternity Elixir Bar. It was an incredibly beautiful synergy working with this tribe at the previous event! There will be ample space provided to move your body freely, drink delicious elixirs and tea and socialize in the main room!

Thank you all whole-heartedly for supporting this movement, it is our service to help illuminate the conscious music medicine scene within this city and it is a privledge to watch it grow with all of you as we enjoy a blissed out ride, singing and dancing our way into a higher embodiment together!
