'Memento: Archiving Memory'

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Home Made Visible commissioned Indigenous filmmaker Jennifer Dysart is hosting a workshop exploring personal archiving. In this workshop, participants are asked to bring an object of significance to share with a small group. Through activities and exercises, the facilitator will guide workshop participants in expressing the memory or story attached to those objects, to create a mailable postcard and/or an attachable memory tag that can become part of a personal archive.
This is a hands-on workshop and every participant will go home with leave both their original and new archival objects.
Registration is required as space is limited to eight participants.
