An immersive musical journey featuring Eily Aurora and Evan Freeman

Delve into meditative soundscapes and rhythms that connect you to the ‘home’ of your body, community and planet. Come as you are, be a part of a shared experience, leave inspired and connected. We are excited to have spacial local guest, DJ dr.ummachine spining world music throughout the evening.

The workshop is designed to ignite your creative confidence. Explore the healing power of music through improvisation, songwriting and storytelling. Open to all backgrounds and abilities - no musical experience necessary.

About Eily Aurora

Eily is a singer/songwriter, harpist and intuitive statagist in Calgary, Canada. With a passion to ignite creative confidence, she creates the safe space to inspire inner peace, connection and hope. For over a decade, Eily has performed on stages in Canada and the USA. She recently released her second CD, A Journey of The Heart. Recent work includes composing live with a Living Plant (through the Music of the Plants biofeedback machine) and playing Chinese and Celtic harp simultaneously.

About Evan Freeman

Evan Freeman is a Calgary-based musician, singer and songwriter who aims to bring audiences inspiration, beauty, joy and solace. His latest album Luna was described in the Calgary Herald as "a masterfully sculpted piece of pop-informed shoegazing wonderment" and was listed on the CBC Key of A's top ten albums of 2016. Supporting Luna, Evan toured across Canada and performed at the Calgary Folk Music Festival. Evan is currently recording his second full-length album, anticipated in 2019.

About Special Guest dr.ummachine

dr.ummachine is a bass music selector, influenced by his South American roots. Canadian born of Chilean decent, he portrays a style of eclectic music that takes you on a journey through the South American continent. Shifting back and fourth between the modern sounds of today’s underground electronic music. He plays genres like folktronica, tropical bass, dub, dubstep, and baile funk. From his experience performing as a drummer and percussionist, dr.ummachine curates sets full of groove and rhythm that fills dance floors.
