Atlantic Voices presents "Hook, Line and Singers", a tribute to the Atlantic Fishery

About this Event

On May 24, 2020, Atlantic Voices offers a musical salute to the Atlantic fishery. 'Hook, Line and Singers' includes lively traditional tunes, as well as moving and nostalgic selections about the fishing life: its hardships and its joys. The program features favourites such as Let Me Fish off Cape St. Mary's and Squid-Jiggin' Ground in arrangements by leading Canadian composers. The concert takes place at Centretown United Church, 507 Bank Street. Concert starts at 3:00, with pre-show entertainment by the Fumblin' Fingers at 2:15. Silent auction and reception to follow.
