Hot Topics

Got a hot topic, issue or challenge that you’re dying to chat about with your peers? Could be an organizational challenge that you’re in the middle of, or maybe an article that has you riled that was posted on FB, or an interesting idea that has come up on your caucus calls and you would like to hear more about how to make it happen! Maybe it’s an area you need some guidance or reference on best practice, or could be something you’ve gone through at your company and think others would benefit from hearing about.

Hot Topics is that place for you! Watch for our short list on topics that have bubbled up to the surface or e-mail us your suggestions for something you want to lead or at least participate in.

Thursday, November 9 – 1:00-2:00 PM EST (please adjust for your own time zone)

HOT TOPICS – Digital Arts in Artistic Practice

Open Dialogue for Artists and Creators facilitated by Jay Dodge, Artistic Producer, Boca del Lupo.

“It's often said that what art does best is help us find meaning in what it is to be human, and in the last decade making sense of technology and its advances has become paramount. As a society we need more art that takes digital tools and digital thinking and uses it to express and curate beauty, meaning and debate.” Rohan Gunatillake – Guardian (UK) Monday 23 September 2013

The question is simple – how do you as creators or artists use digital means within your practice. This is an open dialogue hot topic conversation meant as a platform to share examples or ideas of how you use digital means to tell your stories.
