Who should attend?
How She Hustles events are primarily attended by self-identified diverse women/racialized women/women of colour but also by women from all backgrounds who believe in the spaces we create. You are all welcome to jon us. We aim to create an uplifting vibe at all our events where women can be their authentic selves. If you do not identify with our core audience, please consider showing your support by purchasing a ticket for others in your networks. At times, we have also had women generously gift tickets to young women and those without means to purchase tickets at this time.

What should I wear?
Be YOU. Comfortable yet stylish summer attire is recommended. The vibe is not formal but know that we LOVE taking photos at all our events and you never know who you'll meet.

Is there a formal agenda?
We will have an informal program & brief remarks. We will have some exciting news to share and curated activities - join us to get the scoop. Otherwise, expect a relaxed evening to chill, meet and converse with other diverse women doing amazing things. Think of this as girls night out at a beautiful venue that feels like a mini getaway for a few hours – but with other professional women who are making moves. Don't stress - this isn't a stuffy room. And don't worry if you are coming alone - we have had an incredibly welcoming vibe at all our events for almost a decade and don't plan to stop now!

Is the venue accessible?
There is a barrier-free entrance, restrooms and access to the main indoor space where we will gather. We will offer ASL interpretation. If you require any other accommodations, please contact us to discuss.

What is the expected code of conduct for all guests?
We take great pride at How She Hustles in creating a positive vibe and warm inclusive space for our guests.

1. Respect the diversity in the room. There are guests from many identities and lived experiences attending. We pride ourselves in creating a space where guests can be their whole authentic selves. As such, we will not tolerate hateful or discriminatory behaviour toward others in words or actions. This has never been an issue - and we plan to continue to curate spaces where we can all feel welcome!

2. Treat others with kindness and empathy. We know that sometimes our speakers and the energy of the room can evoke a wave of emotions for our guests - that's totally fine. So if you want to laugh out loud, snap back in agreement, need to release tears or excuse yourself for a private moment, please do. Just respect that what you need or how you feel may be different from those around you. All good.

3. If you have any questions, concerns or feedback during our event that requires immediate attention, please contact staff at our registration desk.

Backing onto a ravine and overlooking all of Don Valley, this "urban resort" offers a picturesque setting, which has become a hideaway for those looking to escape the hustle of the downtown core. This smoke-free hotel offers 16,000 square feet of meeting space including indoor and outdoor pools, a patio and more. It's spacious, beautifully appointed and is a perfect spot to welcome How She Hustles for a summer night under the stars.
