The tools, processes, and skills of “coaching” just so happen to be a powerful and proven pathway to engaging people, supporting their development, and improving the culture of the organization. Of course, your leaders are not coaches, and this training is not designed to make them one. The approach of “The Coach-Like Leader” is to familiarize leaders with a leadership style that helps to build accountability, improve independent problem-solving skills, and develop an organization where people want to work (culture). Participants will explore working with short, intensely focused “coach-like” interactions, experience the value of the approach, and build skills and tools to support their people while encouraging others in the organization to become more coach-like in their practice.

Workshop Outcomes:

• Develop a personalized coaching approach

• Learn how to develop and support people through the use of highly effective coaching interactions that can take 10-minute or less

• Cultivate the micro-skills that make the model work

• Develop individual strategies to integrate coaching into leadership practice.
