Meet the Speakers
Katy Ho
Katy Ho is a passionate human rights, animal welfare, and environmental activist. After working in the fashion industry as a marketing specialist, business consultant, and model, she recognized that there were still major gaps in the fashion industry relating to diversity, ethics, and sustainability. Taking initiative on the problems plaguing one of the world’s largest industries, Katy started Attire to alleviate the gaps and help consumers adopt conscious fashion practices.
Annie Lo
Since studying at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, Annie has discovered her own sense of style and how important one’s wardrobe is to their overall “personal branding”. Upon entering the working world, Annie soon realized that there is a limitation of outfits currently being sold by retailers (and those available contribute greatly to fast fashion which she does not resonate with). While she had outfits that were great for a fun, social event or a romantic date night, she couldn’t necessarily wear it in a professional workplace environment - and vice versa. In the end, Annie constantly found herself forced to choose between style and professionalism. Wanting to stay true to her style and being able to wear outfits that not only represents who she is but is comfortable, sustainable and appropriate to wear in / outside of the office, while also not breaking her bank account, Annie founded Boss Lady Collective with her partner in crime, Savneet!
Savneet Sandhu
Savneet Sandhu is a passionate, versatile and motivated professional. Drawing on her experiences in creating her own personal style while saving money she will be sharing strategies that she uses to strategically create her professional and also conscious-friendly wardrobe. Creating a wardrobe that is professional, comfortable and showcases her own individuality. Savneet is continuously updating her professional wardrobe to position herself for success through memorable first impressions.
